ABOUT

WHAT IS BED OF NAILS?
The concept behind the bed of nails dates back over 1,000 years and has long been associated with meditation practices. Bed of Nails® has created a modern, ergonomically designed interpretation of this traditional concept, developed in Sweden. Each Bed of Nails® mat features thousands of rounded acupressure points made from non-toxic, recyclable plastic. These points are designed to create a gentle pressure sensation on the skin without piercing it.Bed of Nails® products are designed to help create a moment of pause in your day —whether at home, at work, or after physical activity. Many people use them as part of their relaxation or mindfulness routine to unwind and recharge in the midst of modern life.

WHY MORE NAILS MATTER
Bed of Nails helped introduce acupressure mats to a global audience in 2009. Since then, we’ve continued refining our designs to improve comfort, durability, and sustainability. Each Bed of Nails round nail plate contains 42 rounded points, compared to the 25 points commonly found on many other mats. By distributing body weight across more points, pressure is spread more evenly across the surface. Many users find this design creates a more balanced and comfortable acupressure experience.
HOW DOES BED OF NAILS WORK?
Bed of Nails mats create gentle pressure across the surface of the skin through thousands of rounded acupressure points. When you lie or rest on the mat, your body weight distributes across these points, creating a distinctive pressure sensation. Many users describe the experience as invigorating at first, followed by a feeling of warmth and relaxation as the body settles into the mat.Because everyone’s experience is unique, reactions may vary. Some people feel calm and relaxed, while others feel refreshed and energized after use.Bed of Nails can be used as part of a daily relaxation ritual, during stretching, meditation, or simply while resting.
