Christmas Gift - Brilliantly Received
This was purchased as a gift for my girlfriend and when exchanging gift on Christmas we found out that we are very alike in the fact that I had bought her the mat and she had bought me the pillow. Upon opening, the raised points look very sharp and individually they are but when laying on the mat or the pillow the distribution of the pressure creates an immediately relaxing almost euphoric feeling. It's sort of ironic that my Bed of Nails actually gets rid of the feeling of being on pins and needles. It must be that the promotional explanation is correct, and that the mat and pillow release sufficient bodily chemicals to produce a mellow relaxation I find totally enjoyable. So far, I'm limiting my time to 15-minute periods on the mat and pillow, and I keep on my t-shirt. One day soon I'll try it bare-skinned to see if the comfort and relaxation increase even more. I'm already convinced that the Bed of Nails ensemble will be therapeutic if I happen to get sick, but the benefits I'm already receiving likely are warding off any winter illness.
