Bed of Nails Supports World Elephant Day

Tribe of Elephants in Africa

Join the BON Tribe as we honor and help elephants around the world! This Thursday marks the 10th annual celebration of World Elephant Day. Bed of Nails is joining the efforts by donating 5% of our profits to this worthy cause.

The elephant is our teacher of ancient wisdom. In Indian culture, where the mystical Bed of Nails originated over 1,000 years ago, elephants are a symbol of mental strength, wisdom and responsibility. They are believed to bring good luck and prosperity. We believe all of those attributes contribute to a "BON" Life ~ a good life ~ which is why we have an elephant in our Bed of Nails logo.

Unfortunately these incredible animals face numerous threats due to habitat loss, the escalation of poaching, human-elephant conflict and mistreatment in captivity to both African and Asian elephants. That is why we are choosing to participate in this international celebration highlighting their plight and supporting their preservation and protection.

When you shop from the BON Shop this week, 5% of the proceeds will be donated to World Elephant Society, the nonprofit tax-exempt 501(c)(3) charity organization behind World Elephant Day.

Join us as we support these majestic creatures!
